Thank you for joining us. It has been a long term goal of mine to create and maintain a website that delves into the world of music and philosophy. I have recently began creating a series of online graduate level music classes, and now I have the opportunity to fulfill this goal. This particular website is created and maintained by faculty and students at the George Mason University School of Music. By cooking up a variety of blogs in the Philosophy Kitchen, our students gain a deeper understanding of different philosophical perspectives. In addition, it is hoped this website will provide a resource for music educators, graduate students, university faculty, and anyone else who may be interested in the philosophy of music.
